As with last year, Luton’s International Carnival parade will take place around the outside of Wardown Park, keeping all the carnival fun in one place.
After positive feedback from families and schools the, UK Centre for Carnival Arts (UKCCA) have agreed to keep Wardown Park as the main focus for carnival.
Route
The colourful parade will begin at Moor Park end of New Bedford Road and continue clockwise, heading towards Stockingstone Road where it will move onto Old Bedford Road, then down Cromwell Hill and back onto New Bedford Road.
Road closures
• New Bedford Road, 8.30am – 8pm;
• Old Bedford Road, 11am – 5.30pm
• Stocking stone Road, 11am – 4pm
• Cromwell Hill, 8.30am – 8pm
Parking
Parking will be available at The Mall in the town centre and at Luton train station on Midland Road.
